Q1: What does motherhood mean to you?
To me, it means putting your child's needs above your own. Some days are hard and some are easy but it’s one of life’s greatest gifts and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Q2: What’s your favorite part about being a mother?
My favorite part about being a mother is experiencing the wholehearted, joyus love and laughter of my kiddos! I love to see them happy and enjoying life together, it’s one of my favorite things!
Q3: What does a typical Mother’s Day look like for you?
Every Mother’s Day I celebrate my mom and my grandma, but also all of my mom-friends! At home, Jason loves to make it memorable with flowers, a special meal, and fun family playtime. My favorite part is opening up homemade cards from Olivia and Teddy. They always create something from the heart and that’s the best gift of all!
Q4: How do you balance work/mom life while working from QVC & at-home?
I live in Orlando. So when I leave for QVC in Philadelphia, I often leave secret notes in their lunch boxes. On nights before travel, I tuck them into bed and say, "Mom’s going to QVC in the morning but I'll be back tomorrow night!"
There are countless times when I have woken up in the dark, flown to Philly, headed to the studio, raced back to the airport and made it home for dinner time. It's tiring but seeing my kids sweet faces & having those extra family moments makes it all worth it.
